Join Abbie Bakan speak about her experience in Lebanon at the Palestine University this past summer. Abbie provides a current assessment of the situation facing Palestinians inside Lebanon. A opportunity to also ask questions and be in conversation with the audience.
Abigail (Abbie) Bakan is Head of the Department of Gender Studies, and Professor of Political Studies, at Queen’s University. Her research focuses on employment equity, Marxist theory and “anti-oppression politics”. She is a member of Not in our name (NION) and Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid (CAIA).
